The Burren

The Burren

The Burren really is a living landscape and is host to 70% of Ireland’s native flora with unusual combinations of Artic, Alpine and Medditeranean plants growing side by side.

It also has the highest concentration of archeological monuments from the Bronze Age and Early Christian Period in Ireland.

The majority of the Burren is designated a Special Area of Conservation so it really is a unique and wonderful place to come visit and take to the waves.
